Our Beginnings

Farmers Hope is our story of humble beginnings, determination and commitment to realising our aspirations.

Founded by Ms Tebogo Nyathela, the Farmers Hope original dream was simply a desire to put nutritious food on the table and sustain families. Having succeeded in producing the first yield, where a portion of the produce was shared with community members – it was clear this was an idea whose time had come.

It was time for this farming initiative to empower the community through a sustainable food programme, fostering collaborations and empowering local community members (especially women).
